The rise in popularity of plant-based lifestyles and veganism, as well as scientific research, is inspiring ethical entrepreneurs to launch amazing new products which focus on the health of people and the planet. A recent study from the University of Oxford showed that one of the best things we can do for the environment is to switch to a plant-based diet, which will reduce our carbon footprint from food by up to 73 per cent. This research has helped brands, consumers and the media understand the impact of what we eat, and realise the need to create viable alternatives without compromise while being as informed and transparent as possible.
