Big Carp cover positions are one of carp angling’s all time goals. We pride ourselves on our covers, which over the years have featured all the best looking carp in the country. But what about a magazine where every article is about fish good enough for the cover – a magazine where every target fish is an absolute ‘Minter’? Well that is what Big Carp Issue 230 is all about!
True, we feature Good Looking Carp every month; we even have a monthly competition to decide upon the best, but never have we featured such an array of absolute beauties, so just feast your eyes on this lot.
The cover story this month is from Big Carp regular Mark Cripps. No stranger to good lookers himself, Mark was actually runner-up in last year’s competition with a big black forty common from Dinton. This year he has surpassed himself, and not only that, but he has kept this capture secret from his fellow anglers. Our front cover this month features a very special carp indeed – a rare capture. Having only ever been caught twice before, this upper forty common came from Dinton, caught in secret and never before publicised. Thanks, Mark… we love an exclusive! And what a ‘Minter’ it is, but it does not stop there for Mark, as you will see in his article, which is littered with some very special looking captures.
