FOOD MEMORIES FROM MY FATHER
My parents brought a mixture of cuisines and cultures to the table – my dad is from Pakistan and my mum from Iran. As soon as it’s sunny, Dad sets up a makeshift barbecue in the garden and cooks amazing neck fillets of lamb marinated in yogurt, garlic, chilli and oregano – the smell of them cooking on a warm summer’s day never fails to remind me of home.
