Joins Emma Barnett on Woman’s Hour
Countryfile presenter Anita Rani has joined BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour. The 43-yearold took part in her first episode last week and will present the Friday and Saturday editions of the longrunning show alongside Emma Barnett.
In a Twitter post, she said: “I am really looking forward to getting to know the listeners and discussing issues that matter to them most. Woman’s Hour has always given a voice to people who may not be heard elsewhere and I want to continue that important tradition.”
Anita has also regularly presented on Radio 2 and The One Show, and reached the semi-final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2015.
• Charlene White has joined ITV’s Loose Women as its new anchor, following Andrea McLean’s exit.
