TWO museums in Argyll are among the 15 from across Scotland who are set to benefit from over £600,000 of funding from Museums Galleries Scotland (MGS). Kilmartin Museum in Lochgilphead and Dunollie Museum, Castle and Grounds in Oban have been awarded £17,000 and £40,000 respectively.
Kilmartin Museum is currently undergoing redevelopment, and MGS funding will pay for professionals to produce a new plan for presenting and interpreting its collection.
Dunollie Museum have secured their funding to improve the outdoor dining facilities at its popular Kettle Café.
