Volunteers have cleared a trailer-load of rubbish and weeds from around mothballed Ardchattan School recently.
The working party managed to get the area looking less neglected at the weekend by weeding and pruning back overgrowth – in return for a picnic. Community councillor Breege Smyth, who co-ordinated the event, praised the volunteers.
