THE Accident and Emergency department at Lorn and Islands Hospital in Oban has exceeded the Scottish Government’s waiting time targets, according to the latest figures.
These figures, which have been collated by the NHS National Services Scotland, highlight that for week ending January 7, 96.2 per cent of patients were seen, treated, discharged or admitted within four hours.
Caroline Henderson, local area manager for the hospital, said: ‘I am really pleased that the Accident and Emergency department at Lorn and Islands Hospital has achieved 96.2 per cent and that we are continuing to exceed the Scottish Government target of 95 per cent.
