Have you got a ukelele gathering dust, desperate to be played?
Sue Pagan is helping to set up a new ukelele group at Oban’s Dementia Resource Centre and is looking for donations. Lidl is due to hand over a number of the string instruments to the centre in High Street but more are still welcome, said dementia adviser Sue.
Oban busker Aidan MacLeod has offered to help teach the sessions and memory group users Irene Hannah and Betty Cookson are among the first to get into the swing and sign up.
