We tested the prototype in the last issue
and found it to be excellent. Not good
enough for Thunderslot, who want their
new car to be perfect. What did they do?
More development and testing to come
up with improved parts before the fi rst
cars reach the shops. We take a look at

WORKSHOPS
32 VACFORM BODY JIG
Mounting a clear vacuum formed bodyshell
onto a chassis without getting it twisted, in
the wrong place, or simply ruining it takes
skill and practice. Of course if you had one
of James Cleave’s new body jigs you would
get it right every time.
