Mental Health Awareness week is coming up in May. From children in school to princes of the realm, people are far more willing to talk about their own struggles nowadays, so we are more aware than we used to be of the huge problem we have across society with mental health issues such as stress, loneliness and depression.
At the same time, we’re beginning to see robust research findings that confirm the incredible benefits of any kind of creative practice. As little as twenty minutes of writing a day, on any subject, has been shown not just to improve people’s mental wellbeing but even their physical health as well.
