Two projects on Skye have been boosted by Scottish Government tourism infrastructure funding.
Kate Forbes MSP, who campaigned for the money, welcomed £300,000 for new toilets and motorhome services at Storr, which will complement the car parking development already under way, and £65,579 for improved car parking and ‘green toilets’ at Blabheinn, an increasingly popular climbing spot.
Friday’s announcement brings the tally of Scottish Government investment in tourism infrastructure projects on Skye to more than £750,000 this year.
