Accused husband no case to answer

A MAN accused of putting his wife in danger by grabbing the handbrake of the car she was driving was found to have no case to answer.

Rose-May Sliwinski told Fort William Sheriff Court that on January 24 this year Richard Sliwinski, her now estranged husband, had become angry with her, shouted and swore at her and grabbed the handbrake which caused the car to stop abruptly and forced other road uses to take evasive action.
