Dec/Jan Issue 190 Now On Sale!

Merry Christmas Pacenotes readers…we’ve got another packed edition for you to read while you put your feet up during this festive season!

Some very worthy champions have been crowned in 2021 and gracing the cover this month is British Rally Championship record breaker, Matt Edwards. He secured his third consecutive BRC title at the Modern Tyres Ulster Rally after what was a titanic battle with Osian Pryce. We have all the action covered from the season finale.

Also inside, we have an interview with Edwards as well as the new BRC Junior Champion, William Creighton. Other champions are in the spotlight too, including Garry Pearson, Jason Pritchard and young rally star Ioan Lloyd.

Irish rally fans will be eager to see our Group Motors Rally Team ‘In My Garage’ special. Kieran O’Neill has always been a fan favourite with his crowd pleasing Kadett while Sean Treacy allowed us to take a closer look at his beautiful Lancia Fulvia Fanalone.

Becs Williams says farewell to the World Rally Championship’s Seb Ogier/Julien Ingrassia dream team and Jamie Arkle has turned back the clock to remember the mighty Mitsubishi Galant VR-4. Meanwhile, Scotland’s John Fife considers whether or not the new hybrid era can ever provide the same thrill and excitement of years gone by.

All of that is in addition to our usual selection of rally reports that include the Ulster Rally, Roger Albert Clark, Killarney Historic, Rallynuts, Cadwell, Kingdom, Malton and Kerry Winter Stages – plus season round-ups for the Northern Ireland, BTRDA, Scottish and British Historic series.

Don’t miss out - make sure you wrap up warm, put your feet up in front of the fire, and enjoy the read!
