Patchwork and Quilting  |  April 2015
So here we are, Easter already! We have some lovely projects for you this month, including Floral Dance which is another great quilt by Betty Croke; she has combined accurate piecing and appliqué to make another stunner. The Tulip Wall Hanging is an appliqué quilt; make this wall hanging your own by using your favourite tulip colours. Fractured is a pieced quilt featuring a delicate palette of colours from a new Art Gallery Fabrics collection called Gossamer, and Emma has put together another wonderful Kids Easter Special to entertain your little quilters over the Easter Holidays. In our features we review the latest Fine Cell Work exhibition at the Quilt Museum and Gallery in York, we meet Shruti Dandekar, a prolific modern quilter who is based in India and founding member of the India Modern Quilt Guild, and we also visit Ray Stitch in London in Lets Go Shopping. We hope your creative juices have started flowing for our new Make it Competition. The prize is a place on a tour to New York with P&Q Tours!
