As it’s February we have a handful of heart-themed projects for you. The I Love Liberty quilt was a quilt spied at a local quilt group’s exhibition. The Scandi Heart Cushion is a simple appliqué cushion but which will appeal to many and we start a new block of the month quilt, Heart Song, which introduces us to different techniques for making hearts and embellishing. For the cold nights we have the delightfully cosy tweed quilt My Donegal Home and a Touch of Yellow reminds us that spring is just around the corner! In our features we Go Shopping to Hannah’s Room, who have a new quilt shop in Leicestershire and we Meet a Mini Quilter; young Alice who at the age of 10 is already a very prolific quilter. We hear more about the Quilters' Guild oral history project Talking Quilts and we discover the inspirational story about Sarah’s Quilt, a blind quilter and her journey of learning and making her first quilt.
