We’re very excited about our new series project, the Calendar Quilt introducing a different appliqué technique each month. Also appliquéd is the Bug a Boo quilt, based on a fabric panel. The Red and Blue Cushions are enhanced by machine quilting, while the Redwork Holdall is hand embroidered. Take Six and Which Way Is Up are rotary cut and pieced projects. The useful Scissors Roll uses a variation of Cathedral Windows.
All our regular features are included plus Meet Janet Clare with her own special style, The Story of the Kingsbury/Liukeng Quilt, which links an English and Chinese school, Glamorgan Quilters’ Exhibition displaying their thirty years of expertise and The Hand Block Maker from Sanganer, India. The travelling quilter has a lot to contend with on her journey From Vancouver to Mexico and there is a lot of hard work behind the scenes for the Totally Patched Retreats.
