Patchwork and Quilting  |  July 2014
We have a really good variety of projects for you in this issue. The Victory Quilt is designed by Beth Studley and showcases her first fabric collection that she released last year with Makower UK. Batik Blooms is a lovely pieced and appliqué quilt while Hearty Good Wishes is a quick pieced appliqué quilt designed by Janet Clare featuring her first collection of fabrics she has designed for Moda. If you like using every possible scrap of fabric, the Inchies Cushion uses a great method for doing so. We have a review of Quilts UK in Malvern, which was as wonderful as ever, as was the overall winning quilt by Annalize Littlefair. Let’s Go Shopping visits a quilt shop with a difference, an antique quilt shop! And to end, a final reminder; the closing date for our Make It competition, ‘250 Shades of Red’ is 31 July. Don’t forget to finish off your quilts and help us celebrate our 250th issue in a few months!
