This is my final entry in my attempt to playFallout 4 on Survival difficulty with a luck build, and so far I’ve experienced little in the way of either survival or luck. It’s been a grueling, merciless struggle to take even the smallest steps forward, to the point where I only completed a single quest in the previous entry. Anything that can kill me has done so dozens of times, with every battle carrying a precipitous risk of instant death that often costs me chunks of progress.
However, since we last strode out into the Commonwealth (and immediately trod on a landmine), I’ve been grinding away in the northeast of Fallout 4’s map to improve my fortunes. I solved the mystery of a missing trade caravan near the walled settlement of Covenant, successfully explored a federal compound crammed with raiders, and gave a bunch of mirelurks the runaround at the Irish Pride Shipyard building, among a bunch of other things.
