BLACK HOLE
STEVE PELLATT
“Northumberland in northern England has many miles of spectacular coastline. One such area runs south from Craster to Cullernose Point, and within this is the ‘Black Hole’ where, when the sea has a bit of energy in it, you can feel at peace watching the waves break over the rocks and the water back flow over them. This 25-second exposure gave the feel I wanted and suited the grey conditions, and processing for black and white was an obvious choice. I went for a fairly tight crop to emphasise the ‘Z’ shape, to lead the eye through the image.” https://bit.ly/3Nare2m
