Waiting for the green light
News that Irish Ferries has launched a Dover-Calais crossing (see our report at practicalcaravan.com) has reinvigorated my desire to travel to the Continent again. I’ve really missed being able to drive onto a ferry or Eurotunnel train, to be whisked away to the other side of the Channel, ready to enjoy the wonderfully relaxed touring lifestyle that you can find in France and beyond. Until we get the green light to tour abroad, I’m making the most of the amazing sights (and sites!) on these shores. As I type, the UK’s final legal restrictions have just been lifted, so hopefully things will feel ‘normal’ again soon. Fingers crossed!
