What’s your earliest memory of prog?
My oldest brother was in university by the time I landed on the planet, and I remember he was very immersed in all kinds of music, including ELO, Fairport and Kate Bush.
The first prog album you bought? Sigur Rós –Með Suð Í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust. I remember being at a ferry port in Dublin one night on the way home after some gigs, and Fljotavik poured out of the car radio. I was captivated. The next day I ran to my local HMV to collect all that was on offer of theirs.
