Something for everyone
Lisa Moore
House of Anansi Press, Sept.
A new book by Lisa Moore is always an event: a new story collection is cause for ecstatic jubilation. The Newfoundland author excels at the short form, though there hasn’t been a complete collection of new stories since Open in 2002. This fall, Moore returns with a suite of stories focused on such varied subjects as a rock musician possibly jumping overboard from a cruise ship and a woman who learns her nextdoor neighbour may be a rapist.
