A 17-day national coronavirus lockdown in Wales from October 23 to November 9 has led to all of the country’s tourist railways having to close.
Travel is confined to essential journeys only following a ‘stay at home’ message being announced by Wales First Minister Mark Drakeford as part of a ‘circuit breaker’ to stem the number of cases.
Prior to the national lockdown, 17 areas of north and South Wales were affected by a local lockdown, with people unable to travel outside of their area, along with restrictions on indoor meetings and gatherings.
