Plans for five new stations in South Wales
AMBITIOUS plans by Transport for Wales (TfW) for five new stations in South East Wales between Cardiff and Severn Tunnel Junction have moved a step closer following the launch of a 13-week public consultation, which runs until January 14, 2024.
The proposals form part of the South-East Wales Transport Commission’s recommendations for tackling vehicle congestion on the M4 motorway. The scheme aims to improve connectivity between suburban communities and key regional destinations in SE Wales and SW England.
