Dear Retro Gamer,

I loved the recent article about being more intentional about purchases and possibly selling those games that will not be played. I myself am a collector, but I also struggle with over buying, especially games I will literally never play.

I genuinely feel it would be really nice to hear more from the team regarding this. I know for myself it was helpful to hear about Darran’s thoughts on the subject, and it helped me to understand that I am not alone, and quite possibly that I need to grow in this area as a person. We’re glad Darran’s article spoke to you, Nicholas. If you’re new to the mag you may have missed Darran and Nick discussing their collections in issue 218. We’re both of the opinion that collecting is a healthy part of the hobby, providing you don’t let it overwhelm you. Take it steady and you’ll be fine. Have a book while you ponder the best steps to take with your collection.
