Scott Kreamer explains the major shifts in the darker, scarier Jurassic World: Chaos Theory series

TWO YEARS AGO, THE SERIES finale of DreamWorks’ animated show Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous ended with an unexpected two-year time jump that gave audiences a look at the more grown up “Nublar Six” and their fates. Plus, the nifty coda reveal of a Brachiosaurus outside Darius’s window meant the series timeline caught up to the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
While the open-ended climax may have felt like a set up for future stories, executive producer Scott Kreamer tells Red Alert that in his mind it was unquestionably an ending to their five seasons of storytelling. He was ready to move on to new projects, until Universal and DreamWorks reached out for his thoughts on potential continuations.
