Our paperback pick is Adrian Tchaikovsky’s SERVICE MODEL ( ★★★★★, 22 May, Tor). This satirical tale is centred on Charles, a robotic valet who inexplicably kills his wealthy human owner. Fleeing, he goes on a quest to find a new Master – and work out why he committed murder.
