“I’m so excited to be a part of this challenge! When
imagine the ones with a star or ower motif at the centre. My goal was to create a design that is intricate and beautifully textured at the same time. The softness of the yarn and the gorgeous pastel shades were so inspiring, they immediately reminded me of spring and I loved every second working on it.” Find Krisztina on Instagram at @k.a.m.e_crochet

“I’ve always loved looking at other makers’ crochet mandalas, but I’ve never made one myself. That’s why I was so thrilled with this theme – it’s been a chance for me to express my creativity and try something new in crochet. For this pattern, I was inspired by spring owers. I love mandalas because they use so many di erent colours, and experimenting with colour combinations is fun!” Check out Katia on Instagram at @keti.crochet
the pastel shades of the yarn reminded Krisztina of spring, so she placed a flower at the centre of her mandala;
Krisztina’s design incorporates stitch patterns that resemble petals scattered all around;
the mandala is finished with a border decorated with picots
