“It’s been fantastic to be part of this colourful cushion design challenge. I love colour, so it was the perfect challenge for me. It was wonderful to get to use the Scheepjes Terrazzo range – the beautiful tones made me think of autumn and log cabin quilts. Therefore, my cushion is made of four identical panels and is based on the traditional log cabin quilt design. I positioned the squares to create the illusion of a circle in the middle.” Find more of

“I was so excited when I was asked to take part in this challenge for Simply Crochet. When I saw the yarn, with its bright speckled colours, it reminded me of the jewel tones I’ve seen in Christmas decorations. I knew straight away I wanted to create a thick, textured cushion that would look perfect on a chair next to an open fire and a Christmas tree.
