SCOTLAND the AWESOME
THERE’S A CLUMP OF TWO OR THREE WEEKS IN THE MOUNTAIN BIKE CALENDAR, AROUND THE END OF MAY/ BEGINNING OF JUNE, THAT MIGHT AS WELL BE RECLASSIFIED AS ‘MOVE TO SCOTLAND FORTNIGHT’. FOR THOSE WHO MAKE THE OFTEN EPIC JOURNEY UPCOUNTRY TO RIDE, SPECTATE AND CHEER ON THEIR HEROES, THERE REALLY IS NO BETTER PLACE THAN RIGHT THERE, RIGHT THEN.

TWEED love

The face of pure enjoyment.

It’s not only two wheelers that can get stuck in at Tweedlove.
TweedLove starts the show rolling, with its own fortnight of flat-out entertainment. This year was another inspiring example of how to get apparently the entire population of a Scottish town to come out to watch bike races and cheer for bike racers. Whether it was the kids’ racing, the town centre cyclocross or the heroes of the enduro scene coming to town, everyone seemed to know about it and everyone had a cheer and a wave.
