I am pleased to be able to advise
Stationary Engine readers that
volume 6, the final part of the
“Les Constructeurs Français de
Moteurs Agricoles et Industriels de
1860 á 1950” is now available.
Following Claude’s Ouachée’s untimely
demise there was great concern that the
final volume, covering manufacturers
Renée to Zodiac would not get published,
but thankfully
completing
Claude’s
mammoth
task has been
undertaken
by François
Barral, author
of “Les Moteurs
Bernard de 1920
á 1950” and
“Les Moteurs
Thermiques
JAPY, Évolution
Technique et
Restauration”.
Volume 6,
comprising
of over
200 pages (in colour), is
available from the author for 45€ + 7€
carriage in France, (10€ carriage to
the UK) Contact; François Barral, 38
Chemin de l’épingle, 85560 Longeville
sur mer. Tel: 02 51 33 34 63 or email
francoisbarral85@orange.fr
The demand for the early volumes has
been so great that Volumes 1 and 2 have
been reprinted, and along with volumes
3, 4 and 5, can be obtained from Jean
Ouachée (Claude’s son). For details of how
to order any of these contact ouachee.j@
