All along the watch power
Our beloved Apple Watch SE doesn’t get a refresh this year, but the two high-end options do – and both are packing the potent S9 chip
Apple Watch Series 9
What’s the story?
While the Apple Watch SE offers the most wearable for your wonga, the Series 9 is where most will look when considering what Santa may deliver this Christmas.
This year brings just an iterative update, with a new processor, a brighter 2000-nit display… and carbon-neutral status if you buy it with a Sport Loop.
Is it any good?
The processor is noticeably snappier, while storage is also upgraded from 32 to 64GB. That will only make a big difference if you download a lot of stuff (like music) to your Watch. It’s just a shame the 18hr battery life hasn’t increased.
