A retractable handlebar with built-in electrodes helps Renpho’s latest measure how much flab you’ve managed to pedal into muscle more comprehensively than other body composition scales. As well as weight, key metrics like BMI, body fat, muscle mass and bone density are shown on the easy-to-read LCD screen, while 50 more are beamed to your phone over Bluetooth. The app doesn’t get on with many third-party services, which makes exporting more advanced data a manual affair, but the way it breaks down progress by muscle group is great for highlighting an unbalanced regime.
