Chromebook? You’re not talking about a shiny premium version of Facebook, are you?
We are not. At least, we hope not, because that would be deeply weird. Then again, Chromebooks were pretty strange when they first appeared. Google had imagined a universe in which everything you’d ever want to do on a computer would be squirted through a web browser – specifically, Google Chrome. They sold the concept by noting that people wouldn’t have to spend money on applications or think about safeguarding documents and data by backing everything up.
