Remember when Kias were crap?
Oh, Kia’s definitely released some questionable cars over the years. But its current line-up, with those sharp LED lights and ‘tiger nose’ front grilles, look the business. And this, its upcoming dedicated electric vehicle, looks set to raise the style bar even higher when it lands later this year.
What makes it so special?
This is the first car to sit on Kia’s dedicated E-GMP electric car platform, which it will share with the stupendously retro Hyundai Ioniq 5. But Kia’s design overlord Karim Habib says he’s gone for a “combination of sophisticated, high-tech features on pure and rich volumes, while providing a unique space as a futuristic EV”.
