Obsidian?
That’s my goth name. Very gloomy. Did you know it’s also the name of a type of volcanic glass that’s formed when lava cools quickly? Pantheone Audio’s Obsidian was formed in Australia, where there hasn’t been an eruption for about 5000 years, so this 36cm-tall speaker is made from a high-density resin, with acoustic fabric covering the front. Stone Age hunters used to craft arrowheads out of obsidian, which might explain why Pantheone has decided to make its new speaker this pointy shape, but it’s less obvious why it also comes in white.
