WHEN IT’S NOT IN USE, SMALL METAL DOORS COVER THE CARTRIDGE
€5800 /go.stuff.tv/PP1
Um, that turntable’s missing its tonearm.
And you’re a few radishes short of a salad, but how would you feel if people kept pointing it out all the time? In actual fact, the PP-1isn’t missing anything. Rather than having a tonearm on top like practically every other record player you can buy, it has an elliptical diamond stylus hidden underneath the platter, which means you have to put your records on the ‘wrong’ way up to play the side you want. When it’s not in use, small metal doors cover the cartridge to stop it from picking up dust and other detritus.
