A s it’s our Body and Soul inspired issue, we take a look at how surfers have incorporated different things into their lives to benefit themselves and the planet. From adventure, yoga and going plastic free, to surf fitness and plant-based eating, there are many ways you can try to be the best you can, sometimes it just takes a bit more effort. Think positive. Real change begins within, with self-love. Exercise daily, eat healthy, work hard, stay strong and worry less. Take inspiration from the surfers in this magazine, who are strong, determined, confident women.
Now summer’s here, we take a look at this season’s brand new swimwear for surfing and the beach, get some amazing beach picnic ideas and, as we love festivals, we thought we’d do a festival-inspired fashion shoot to get you festival ready. We had great fun doing it, and take a look at the craft ideas on the SurfGirl website to find out how we re-used the balloons after our shoot.
One thing that really helps us to have a happy, positive outlook is sunshine. We’ve missed it over the long winter months, so now it’s back we couldn’t be happier. Whether you’re booking a surf trip or staying at home this summer, make sure you make the most of your time outdoors and soak up all that lovely vitamin D.
