THREE GREAT GRAPHIC NOVEL ADVENTURES
Much like Burger King, solo gaming is about having it your way. With less calories, usually. And one of the closest gaming experiences to fast food for the solitaire gamer is the graphic novel adventure – part choose your own adventure, part comic book. The undisputed (non-burger based) kings of publishing the good stuff when it comes to graphic novel adventures is Van Ryder Games, who you may know for their massively popular Final Girl and Hostage Negotiator games. Much like those two titles they deal in a kind of up-market-pulp that you don’t necessarily see everywhere, and the graphic novel adventures are a perfect version of this.
