Artsdepot Open

Details: Entries are invited to this diverse and vibrant annual exhibition, which celebrates the work of emerging and established artists from Barnet, north London and beyond. Up to three works may be submitted, which must have been completed within the past three years. Selected work will go on show at the Apthorp Gallery, Artsdepot, 5 Nether Street, Tally Ho Corner, North Finchley, London N12, from July 26 to September 1.

When: Submissions deadline: June 11.

Cost: £10 per work; young artists: £3 per work.

Broadway Arts Festival Competition

Details: Annual competition open to any artist, in all media, including photography, sculpture, film, ceramics and design makers. This year the theme will be ‘Reflection’. Up to four entries may be submitted. Prizes include: Lakeside in Winter by Norman Ackroyd, RA, John Noott Contemporary Art prize, £1,000; Little Buckland Gallery 3D prize, £500; Richard Hagen Gallery local artist’s prize, £500; Richard Christie Framemaker visitor’s choice prize, £500 worth of framing, plus others. Exhibition of selected works will go on show at the Little Buckland Gallery, Broadway, Worcestershire WR12 7JH, from June 8 to 17.
