The joy of April lies in its flurries of blossom and the assurance that warmer months are on their way. For 33 years David Bouch has worked in gardens across the South West. Now he is head gardener at the National Trust-owned Cotehele and Antony estates, among the first in the UK to fill with shades of pink and white. “Managing two distinct gardens is exciting: from the orchards and flower gardens at Cotehele to the Repton landscape at Antony,” says Dave.
