PACESETTERS Wimbledon overcame an 11-point deficit against Havant – only a place below them at the start of the day – to claim a crucial 22-16 win at Beverley Meads.
Joel Knight’s two penalties, plus Ben Chambers’ smart finish, had Havant on the front foot for well over 30 minutes in south London, but the game swung right on the interval as Wimbledon were awarded a penalty try.
