There’s a neat, Shyamalan-esque concept at the centre of The Menu. Twelve diners – each forking out $1,250 – sail off to a remote coastal restaurant, where celebrated chef Julian Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) has precision-tooled a menu that will come to say as much about the diners as it does about himself.
