This years TLI Spring weekend in Eastbourne was once again attended by a group of us from the West Country. Known colloquially at the TLI Eastbourne weekends as the ‘Brizzle’ girls, we’re a group of friends who socialise together in the greater Bristol area.
Since Susy first went to the event a few years ago and brought back tales of how fantastic and fun-packed it was, more and more of us have been going to Eastbourne every year, some also getting to the October and Bournemouth weekends as well.
It was only my second time to this event so I was really happy to join the others on an ‘organised’ day-trip to a local attraction, during the weekend this year, on Sunday. It was going to be a repeat of last year, to Brighton. The three of us also had a look around the very pretty village of Alfriston during Saturday, where the warmth of the log fire in The Star Inn restored me to life.
