Photo school

Credit: Ben Coley

“After years of trying, I finally got my dream shot of a leopard leaping between branches. An overcast day at South Africa’s Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve meant that black and white was the most effective medium for this image. When preparing for an action shot such as this, ensure a high shutterspeed to freeze the action. A higher ISO will also help achieve this in low light conditions and a clear background will help the subject stand out from the photo.” BEN COLEY, PHOTOGRAPHER CANON 60D, ISO 500, F4.5, 1/1250S
