Starting a new job is usually exhausting stuff, unless you’re Georgia Taylor. Returning to her old Coronation Street role at the end of last year, the actress, better known as Toyah Battersby, spent her first day’s filming lying in bed with Chris Gascoyne, aka Peter Barlow. Not a bad way to earn a living, is it? ‘We were literally in bed all day!’ laughs Georgia, 36. ‘But it ended up being the best way to start working together, because it broke the ice.
