When it comes to indigenous reptiles there are few species that draw more attention than the Southern File Snake. It is hard not to be impressed and amazed when you first see and handle this snake. With their robust triangular body with rough, strongly keeled scales and a prehistoric-looking head it is easy to see where they get their name from.
