RAF Fighter Command is no 63 in the Aviation Archive series and features 25 aircraft and 20 profiles. For just over three decades RAF Fighter Command was the primary defence against attack from the air for the British Isles. From its formation in July 1936, the organisation was expanded and improved to counter the growing threat from Germany, in time to face its greatest challenge during the Battle of Britain.
