Delta Air Lines has officially unveiled its special livery to mark the carrier’s 100th anniversary. The new design, adorning Airbus A321neo, N589DT (c/n 12417), which had been delivered to the airline on February 26, was officially launched at a Centennial Gala held at the newly renovated Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta on March 15. The livery was specially designed by one of the airline’s employees, Aaliyah McNeal. It features a distinctive swoosh in blue and silver tones and a large ‘100’ emblem on the sides. Delta said the livery will also feature on a yet-to-be-delivered Airbus A350-941 aircraft later this spring. In a press release, it stated the livery honoured “a century of innovation, resilience and the people who built Delta into the airline it is today”.
