Milan’s Navigli district dates to the 12th century and nine centuries later it is full of vintage shops, restaurants and bars, with its canals a great backdrop for the city’s biggest antiques and vintage market.
This runs every month stretching for 2km along the waterways of the Naviglio Grande.
The Mercatone dell’Antiquariato has around 400 traders, predominantly selling vintage but with some antiques too, and is packed with buyers every last Sunday of the month, with the next on July 30.
